Leroy Sun was born and educated in mainland China, graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English major. He emigrated to Australia some 20 years ago. He is bilingual and speaks fluent Mandarin and English. Prior to working in the diplomatic service, he taught English at a prestigious university in China.

He is a consummate licensed real estate agent selling real estate in The Hills. He attributes his success to his past sales experiences with Bing Lee Electronics where he won many awards as the top salesperson and was rewarded with overseas trips for his achievements.
